The fifteenth edition of the Premio Letterario Caccuri stops in Santa Severina with a musical reading dedicated to Cesare Pavese and Luigi Tenco. On the stage of Piazza Campo, writer Domenico Dara and musician Sasà Calabrese will perform a tribute that intertwines literature and singer-songwriter music. The award, organized by the Accademia dei Caccuriani and awarded the Medaglia al Valore Culturale by the President of the Republic, continues its 2026 tour that started in Caccuri on July 27. The evening is free admission until full capacity.

Estate a Santa Severina e Altilia 2026

From July 23 to August 14, 2026, Santa Severina and its hamlet Altilia host the new edition of “Estate a Santa Severina e Altilia”, a widespread festival that enlivens squares, courtyards and historic spaces with a rich calendar of events. The 2026 program opens on July 23 with the inauguration of the exhibition dedicated to Pirandello at the Castle and continues with cultural meetings, beer festivals, theatrical performances and concerts. Not to be missed is the Notte Bianca dello Sport, while the grand finale on August 14 brings circus and magic shows to the stage.

On August 9, Caccuri hosts a day of cultural meetings and shows. In the afternoon, at the Castle, book presentations with authors and interviews take place. In the evening, in Piazza del Convento, debates on current affairs, literature and medicine follow, followed by a comedy show.

The Premio Caccuri 2026 reaches its fifteenth edition, awarded the Medal for Cultural Value by the President of the Republic. The day of August 10 offers a rich program of literary meetings and shows. In the afternoon, at the Castello di Caccuri, book presentations by Daniela Tagliafico and by Emanuela Ronzitti and Daniele Morgera take place, interviewed by Raffaele Genah and Cataldo Calabretta. The final evening in piazza del Convento features the four finalists competing for the Torre d'Argento: Cecilia Sala, Luca Sommi, Pietro Grasso and Tommaso Cerno. After the speeches, there will be a show by the Gemelli di Guidonia and the award ceremony, hosted by Gianluigi Nuzzi and Laura Freddi.
