From 20 to 24 August 2026, the traditional patronal festivities in honor of San Rocco take place in Scilla, with processions, religious celebrations and fireworks displays. The program includes evening processions of the statue of the Saint in different areas of the town (Ieracari, Chianalea, Marina Grande, San Giorgio-Trionfino) and the Holy Mass with the delivery of the Votive Candle on Sunday 23 August at 10:30. Every evening there are concerts and fireworks displays, with the grand finale of fireworks at sea on the night of 23 August.

Bagnara Calabra (RC)

The ninth edition of Estate in Biblioteca, organized by the Municipal Library “Iracà-Lopresto” in Bagnara Calabra, brings culture to the streets from July 17 to August 31, 2026. The evening events take place on Corso Garibaldi and include meetings with authors, book presentations, debates and storytelling. The opening on July 17 was entrusted to the storytelling “L’Odissea nello Stretto. Il mito e la vera storia”.
