Raduno dei Giganti – Parade and Show

Wednesday, 19 August 2026, as part of the project "Terra dei Giganti dei saperi e dei sapori", the Raduno dei Giganti will take place. At 10:00 a guided excursion to discover the monumental olive tree in the Ligonì locality is planned, followed at 15:00 by a visit to the Scoglio dell'Ulivarella at the Tonnara di Palmi. At 20:00 the parade of 22 Giganti will start through the streets of the village, converging on Piazza San Nicola for a collective show with couple choreographies and individual performances, accompanied by drums and bass drums.
Spettacolo musicale con Ottopiù Street Band

Lunedì 24 agosto 2026, a partire dalle ore 20:00, le vie del paese e Piazza San Nicola si animeranno con lo spettacolo musicale della "Ottopiù Street Band". La serata prevede una sfilata per le vie del paese, seguita da uno spettacolo musicale con trampolieri e l'esibizione straordinaria di un mangiafuoco.
Azzurra Film Festival - 2ª edizione

Martedì 25 agosto 2026, alle ore 22:00, l'Anfiteatro comunale di Varapodio ospiterà la seconda edizione dell'Azzurra Film Festival. La serata prevede la proiezione di un film e la partecipazione di attori e personalità del mondo del cinema e dello spettacolo, con la consegna di premi.
Estate Varapodiese 2026

The "Estate Varapodiese 2026" is a rich program of summer events organized by the Municipality of Varapodio in collaboration with local associations. It takes place from August 2 to 29, 2026 in the squares and public spaces of the town, with the aim of animating the area and offering entertainment to citizens and tourists. The calendar includes musical concerts, flag-waving shows, fashion shows, theatrical recitals, Briscola tournaments, food and wine festivals (such as the Festa del Limone), guided tours, children's shows (Schiuma Party), film screenings, and a football tournament. Among the highlights are the concert of the youth wind band of Delianuova and the show "Senza Limiti Show" with Alessia and Kikko.
